Bank fees
Many banks charge nominal fees for various services, such as requesting a deposit slip or counter check or notarizing a document. Bank fees generally constitute a major portion of revenue for the bank, particularly for regional and local branches.

-       ‘Bank fees are relatively easy to avoid, but I hadn’t done my homework, and I was paying the price for not paying attention. Let me save you that pain.’
Credit card
A credit card is a card issued by a financial company giving the holder an option to borrow funds, usually at point of sale. Credit cards charge interest and are primarily used for short-term financing. Interest usually begins one month after a purchase is made, and borrowing limits are pre-set according to the individual's credit rating.

Investment Fund
An investment fund is a supply of capital belonging to numerous investors used
to collectively purchase securities while each investor retains ownership and control of his own shares. An investment fund provides a broader selection of investment opportunities, greater management expertise and lower investment fees than investors might be able to
obtain on their own. Types of investment funds include mutual funds, exchange-traded funds, money market funds and hedge funds.

Mortgage
A mortgage is a debt instrument, secured by the collateral of specified real estate property, that the borrower is obliged to pay back with a predetermined set of payments. Mortgages are used by individuals and businesses to make large real estate purchases without paying the entire value of the purchase up front. Over a period of many years, the borrower repays the loan, plus interest, until he/she eventually owns the property free and clear.
Spanish translation: Hipoteca
Example:
-       ‘Mortgage loans are usually entered into by home buyers without enough cash on hand to purchase the home. They are also used to borrow cash from a bank for other projects using their house as collateral.’
