Factoring
In finance, factoring consists of acquiring credits
from sales of movable property over a real estate company, providing services
or performing works, granting advances on its credits, assuming its risks.
Through the factoring contract a merchant or manufacturer transfers an invoice
or other credit document to a factoring company in exchange for a total or
partial financial advance. The factoring company deducts from the amount of
credit purchased, commission, interest and other expenses. Factoring companies
are usually banks, savings banks or other specialized companies.

Examples:
-
Companies that
use factoring like it because they get money quickly rather than waiting the
usual 30 or 60 days for payment. After sending an invoice to a factoring firm,
a business can have money in its hands within 24 to 48 hours.
- The cash advance
rate can vary depending on what industry your company is in and whom you choose
as a factor. The advance rate can range from 80% of an invoice value to as much
as 95%. Your industry, your customers’ credit histories and other criteria help
determine the advance rate you receive.
Hedge fund

funds that may use a number of different strategies in order to earn active return, or alpha, for their investors. Hedge funds may be aggressively managed or make use of derivatives and leverage in both domestic and international markets with the goal of generating high returns (either in an absolute sense or over a specified market benchmark).

Examples:
– ‘A hedge fund brutal. I think his plan is to
convert into a bank Phenix American. They mentioned their relocation. They like

– ‘In february it emerged that nearly half of the richest hedge-fund
managers in Britain have donated a total of £10m ($14.8m) to the Conservative party since 2010. Labour, the opposition party, has accused the Tories of dishing out favours, such as a tax loophole, to their “hedge-fund friends’.
Inflation
A persistent, substantial rise in the general level of
prices related to an increase
in the volume of money and resulting in the loss of value of currency.
in the volume of money and resulting in the loss of value of currency.
Spanish translation: Inflación
Examples:
–
‘Higher food prices helped push inflation across the
19-country eurozone to its highest rate in two and a half years, official
figures showed Wednesday. However, the increase in the annual rate to 0.6
percent is unlikely to alter market expectations that the European Central Bank
will extend its stimulus program next week.’
–
‘With
stockmarkets tumbling and the oil price below $30, some economists are once
again worrying about global deflationary pressure. Low inflation can be toxic
for economies when interest rates are also low. One warning light that is
flashing red in America is market expectations of inflation, which have
plummeted to lows not seen since the financial crisis.’
Pension
scheme or Pension plan
It
is an arrangement by
which an employer and, usually, an employee pay into a fund that is invested to
provide the employee with a pension on retirement.
Spanish translation: Plan de pensiones
Examples:

to Employees' Pension Scheme as
its contribution for the year 2015-16, Minister of
State for Labour and Employment Bandaru Dattatreya said Monday.’

scheme for its permanent staff members.’
