Nowadays it's very common not to pay by cash. The use of credit cards and mobile applicactions are getting more and more popular. The evolution in payment methods, in my opinion, give greater security to the customer for the keys needed to perform any operation and also comfort, since you do not have the need to move to the physical store to purchase the products. There exist even the posibility of mortgage lending exclusively through the use of mobile banking apps.
In my opinion, the use of cash will end up disappearing. Card payment is increasingly used and I believe that it will end up replacing cash as the main method of payment due to its comfortability. Leaving commissions aside, it is even more convenient to charge by card for stores. However, in the longer term future, the cards will be outdated due to mobile payment methods. The comfortability of having everything in the smartphone will also replace the current cards. On the other hand, this also carries a risk, having so much information and power in your phone could be catastrophic if it is stolen or broken.
