'Banking and Finance' in the film

In the movie “The wolf of wall street” it is related to our subject because that during the film is about buying and selling stocks at high risk and that the protagonist sold as safe investments, because of the high commissions they get for it.
We want to highlight the following scenes

Black Monday:

Personal commentary

If I had to choose a single word to describe this film, I would say inmoral. Some people may think the movie is an apology to the excess and madness. Although it is a sucession of excesses: sex, drugs and lots of money, I think the movie is an essential film for the ones who love cinema. At the end of the film everyone will want to be a broker like Jordan Belford.

  1. I would stand out the lack of ethics on the part of the protagonist. When he call ignorant people, financially speaking, with the false promise that may be made rich investing their savings. : I would also like to emphasize the greed of the protagonist, since after all offenses committed by him to get richer, were not sufficient; as seen in the phrase "the year earn $ 49 million, that pissed me off because not only reach 3 million a week", this shows the unbridled miserliness, for which he ended up in jail.

  2. The wolf of Wall Street is a movie without mechanisms or morals. It´s the movie that will allow us to know how the bag works secretly, the threads that determine everything, neither to understand this language. It is not also the movie that it is going to condemn to this type of personage who takes a dangerous life .Maybe Scorsese only has spoken about it all his life, about the power of seduction of the evil and about his seemed one with the beauty. In short: of the temptation that cause the money.

  3. The Wolf of Wall Street is a film where the low sensitivity that have some broker companies to society is demonstrated. Where the ultimate goal is profit. In the film the only thing that is illegal is the part where OPV emits a shoe company and in which the protagonist hidden shares for the stock price to rise. This action was why the protagonist entered the prison. The rest of the film, with the sale of "pink sheets" in the strict performance of securities is legal although reprehensible by the type of product to be sold to a population with little financial culture. This type of product recalls the case of “acciones preferentes” in Spain, although the shares are not as complex products. In conclusion, the film is shown as funsiona the business of broker, as the protagonist law skips the case of OPV and in the case of tax fraud.

  4. Talking about 'The Wall Street Wolf', in my opinion one get two diferent points of views: on one side, how a person can 'easily' get a lot of money by investing in the market with some knowledge and a big personal iniciative, on the other hand, how this desire of earning a fortune can force a person to commit illegal things or even drive him crazy.

  5. In my opinion, the film seemed too long, where many of the scenes disturbing and missed most from the financial point of view, so, It focused more on the personal life of the actor to in what really did in the world of finance.

  6. The wolf of the wall of the street is a film very related to the financial world. In this film we can see how the protagonist earns a lot of money in a short time which makes him become addicted to all kinds of drugs.
In my opinion, you can see how the film presents fabulous motivational speeches, becoming a coach in its maximum power, the style "pursue your dreams", master of the sale, great commercial and seductive of the word.

  7. This film reflects the life of excess and madness based on inmoral facts commmitted by the main character, who was a Wall Streer broker without any ethic thought who earns big amounts of money taking advantage of the confidence of his clients.
He started buying securities at high risk and then selling them as safe investments preying on the high commissions they could get for them.
But life is not a fairy tale and every case of fraud is bound to get out and ends in a jail.
