With the Treasury Department's Crime Enforcement Division, run by Ray King (J.K. Simmons), starting to close in, Christian takes on a legitimate client: a state-of-the-art robotics company where an accounting clerk (Anna Kendrick) has discovered a discrepancy involving millions of dollars. But as Christian uncooks the books and gets closer to the truth, it is the body count that starts to rise.
'Banking and Finance' in the film:
This film show us the mistrustfulness that has the star in the bank system and how he can avoid the search that the institutions make. Additionally, the knowledge of the star show us the best way of acting in order to deal with some financial problems.
Personal commentary
This is a complex film -it isn't easy to understand and keep track of the history. However, the film narrates the interesting life of a man who has suffered a mental disease in his childhood. It's very interesting to see how Christian Wolf -the star- gets over those problems and he becomes in one of the most wanted persons in the world because of his abilities about financial world. Moreover, it surprises the aftermaths that the star has because of his childhood's problem, these aftermaths impide that Christian Wolf relates with other persons, being very reserved.
My opinion about this financial film is that I find it curious, because he was working like an accountant in a small town, then he decided to work as an independent accountant for several criminal organizations considered the most dangerous in the world. Being able to have a quiet life, he prefers to be greedy to risk his life to obtain more income.
